I searched for lightened crank pulley and read some advantages and disadvantages. From what i read, i'd say stick with the stock one. For example, i read the stock one has a rubber ring in it, which helps reduce engine vibration.
CTR N1 also has timing marks. So does my UR pulley. Most REAL aftermarket pulley's have timing marks. Ebay pulleys don't, but you can put your own on them. Underdrive pulley's have been around for about as long as street racing has. Old american cars have used them for years and never had a problem. And they are actually replacing their harmonic dampers with steel underdrive pulleys. It's a garenteed way to increase wheel hp.
I have heard horror stories from the CTR N1 pulley as well. I would just stick with stock even though you only have 1 out of 3 belts on it.
well, i'd trust the CTR N1 pulley. its made by honda to be a STOCK pulley on a Civic that didnt come with power steering or A/C. if u dont have either, i dont see a problem with it. i have that crank pulley on my LS.
