Embarrasing muffler

I bought a muffler off of e bay, this one

It looks fine, cool. I get it and it sticks 8 inches out the back of my car. Im embarrassed Could I get cut and welded down? to be flush with my bumper?

Well, at a local shop, (I did get a small hook up tho), they replaced the whole center peice (from cat to rear muffler peice by the rear pass wheel) with 2.25" mandrel bent piping, and it cost me $80... So probably about $50 or so for something like that...

Anyways, I went to my TMA center, and they said $35, and I acceped and they did it all in like 8 minutes, and I love how it looks and sounds.(It is flush with that back bumper and it is not loud at all.
