I would never remove the ground on a fuel injected car. Too much engine management relies on reliable voltage potentials. W/o a front ground, your throttle position sensor is talking through your hatch somewhere. I've tracked all sorts of gremlins down to proper power and ground. -scott

NO it wasn't weight reduction. Ijsut took it off, because I was too lazy to put it backon. That's why i asked if it mattered that much.
u charging system will go to shit my battery went dead 4 times in one week and honda told me it was that wire so i used some 8 guage i had layin around now all my electrical problems have seased
I had a problem after changing my engine where that wire would heat up and melt on me when I was trying to start the car (the car started hard also). I replaced the wire and ran another wire from my negative battery cable to my engine block, by the distributor. I also ran another wire from my body in front to the engine block in back. Haven't had a problem since.
If I put the front ground wire back on, and then I run another Cable from the negative battery terminal to the engine block, do you think my car will start easier and run better?
