wat would you buy for just $500

lol, saving for gas is a good idea. i would buy a cheap intake, and cams/cam depending on motor. im sure you could squeeze an extra 100 for a muffler and a shop to weld a cat back on.

thats aout a month of gas right there, depending on how you drive. And jsut buy like a 40.00 intake off of ebay. they all work the same. And then jsut get your car aligned, change oil, do your brakes, get all the technical stuff done. You will thank yourself later. If the car is lowered get a camber kit and get it aligned.

I would spend it on general maintenence. Before you start seeking more power, it is a must for the car to run the way it's supposed to first.

Well how do we know isn't running the way it's supposed to? What if he has already done all his maintenence needs??? Then what should he get?
