Default test the cooling fan?

is there a way to test the cooling fan to see if it works, rather than like totally cutting the wires to it and putting power to it. i havent seen or heard it turn on since i rebuilt the motor.

You can find the connector, and just use a paper clip and jump the 2 wires together... With the key on ofcourse...

the cooling fan switch is on the back of the block right next to the oil filter - 2 wire connector with big round black rubber boot - pull boot off of sensor and touch the 2 wires together with key on - fan should come on - when putting the wires back on the sensor, it doesn't matter which one is on which post - it is just a switch - if fan comes on, the switch is probably bad - if fan still doesn't come in, you need to check the fan relay which is on the passenger side fender well, right behind the headlight
