Default Header Leak Question

My header is leaking, because I see the oil on it from the head, and when some of the oil gets on it it burns off and smokes outa my hood. I replaced the gasket with a new one. The old one had a single piece of metall and the new one has two pieces, but for some reason it is still leaking. Should I put High heat silsone around it?

Are you sure it's not the valve cover gasket that's leaking on it? My header had a hole in it and it made a loud ticking noise. You'll know if your header is leaking becasue of the sound. Also, no oil comes out of a hole in the header. That's why i'm thinking your valve cover gasket may be leaking oil onto it.

what side is it leaking on cuz right now my ZC is leaking from the cam seal, even though it looks like its from the head or valve cover.
