Hey, i am new to this site and i was wondering if anyone can help me out, i have a small crack in the front window and it is slowly spreading, is there anyway i can stop the crack???? please help

 

if its bigger than 1.5 inches, some folks will not fix it. Go to satalite glass or a place where they fix winshields. Pay 25-50 bucks and they can fix it with some special stuff. I used to do it, its pretty easy and takes only 20 minutes max. Or your insurance can pay for it with no deductable and they wont raise your rate.

 

the guy i work for owns a couple of business and the car audio shop and the glass shop share a garage space so i know how to install glass as well. the best thing would be a new windshield. a repair is just a bandaid and you will still see where it broke at. plus they dont hold forever, they can last a very long time but the bottom line is that your glass is broke, anything you do now other than replace it is just going to try and prevent it from getting worse.
