Default dome pistons

will dome pistons for a d16 fit in a d15b2?? also how well would the motor(all stock) hold with higher compression?

If the bore is the same, yes of course it will work. Just like you can take pistons from a B16a2 and slap them in the B16a first gen. It will hold, but if I were you I would buy springs and retainers for it. In my opinion I beleive that should be the first mod for every person when building internals. Also if you are going to do that, I Would reccommend replacing the piston rings, and while your at it, jsut get some performance ones. They are about $88.00 for a nice set. You will be greatful for it in the end. I know Spoon Sports makes a high compression head gasket. The gasket is thinner than OEM, but it stills has the same great seal. Basically because it is thinner it moves the head closer to the block, pretty much it is a cheap way to get higher compresion. they run around $125.00 on Ebay.
