fuel filter

Default fuel filter

I have been trying to change my fuel filter but cant get the bottom where it connect to the line of. I used tonnes of penetrating lube but still nothing. any of you guys have this problem? what did you do?

the fuel lines are up top of the filter. Are you sure its the filter your messing with. Sorry to be a smart ass but...................there is a wierd looking oval bolt that runs to yout throttle body you have to take off with a wrench but, i cant think of anything else you could be talking about.

it is either two bolts or one bolt. First take off the top small one
to releive the fuel pressure, be sure to have a rag handy. If it is one bolt then it isn't that hard. But you will probably need to get 2 channel locks for it. Lock it on there really tight, have someone hold the other one and give that Bi*@h some force. It should come off. Replace all the metals washer on it that come with the new fuel filter. It should run like a champ afterwards.
