Iginition coil is inside the distributor..., you need to my the complete distributor if you want a new coil... i dont think they sell the coil seperatly..
Ignition switch is where u put your key... the switch internaly can go bad as well...
can you give any syptoms or more details on your situation??

Ignition coil is inside the distributor and it IS sold seperately.
However, the question here is an ignition module, which is a synonim for an igniter unit. It is inside the distributor. Remove the distributor cap and you will see it hidden behind the plastic cover which is under (and around) the rotor. You remove the cover by pulling it down...very little force is needed. Watch out not to break something. It goes out pretty easy. Igniter unit has 4 wires connected to it, and is held to the distributor with 2 7mm screws.

Are you positive the ignitor unit and module are the same thing? The guys at the auto shop said they where two different pieces.
