just got a b18 block jsut need head and tranny and ecu. Was woundering what would be the best combo for this block. Or were i could just read this from someone that has posted a write up and a good setup using this block. Thanks

well i was gonna say if u had just the block y not go lsvtec?? in fact, still, go ls-vtec. people swear by it

 

ya, going to get a b16 or gsr tranny, and build it with the ls head then when i have the money go ls/vtec with the b16 head. but any write ups on this install on mainly the wireing?

Just the block? You'll need the complete head, distributor, head gasket, head bolts (10,) intake manifold, intake manifold gasket, often a cam seal, distribtor, clutch, flywheel, etc.

It's much easier to buy a complete engine.

 

no all i need is the tranny, got the head dizzy intake block and all the internals ecu. Just need tranny clutch, and axles herd to use 90 integra axles with 90 integra half shaft. And need b series mounts and the main thing im worried or dont know anything about the wireing. It's going to be ls for now then go to ls/vtec. My car is a 90 civic si. Herd the wiring is straight hook up, but i dont know.
