Default Brake Rotors

So today I was pretty pumped up about changing both brake rotors and pads to eliminate the steering wheel vibration when braking at high speeds, plus the squeaks of stop and go braking. I take off the tire and notice that the 2 screws that hold the rotor are unscrewable. The heads on the screws are messed up. I was thinking maybe to drill of the head so i can install new ones when i put the new rotor. What are those screws called? Wonder if I can pick some up at Autozone.

You can drill out the screws. They are recommended, but not really 100% needed. Two of mine siezed on my Civic, so I just drilled them out and didn't worry about replacements. The wheel and lugs will center and hold the rotor in place.

Yea, I always heard they arent too big of a deal... Mainly just to hold the rotor inplace while u take the wheel off to do other repairs... With the wheel and lug nuts on, theyll hold it all on just fine...
