Default sohc vtec ecu!!!!

im doing a mini me swap i have a sohc zc motor and a d16y8 head i need a vtec ecu which ecu do i need? p28? p72? obd0? obd1? please help me folks thanks

P28 is probably the best to run on that combo, and switch to OBD1... U dont even want to mess with OBD2...

Youll need a P28, and a preOBD to OBD1 conversion harness... Unless you want to wire all that yourself, which isnt fun...

p28 has different harness dont i need a pr3?

Youll need to either wire up OBD1, or get a preOBD to OBD1 conversion harness to run the P28...

The PR3 is for a B16 preOBD engine, and will look for things your engine dosnt have, such as the knock sensor, secondary O2 sensor,ect... So the PR3 wont work without modification... The P28 is the best way to run that head on that block...
