Default CRX with B16A header fitment

Does anyone know which header fits best? I bought the whole front crossmember assembly for mine but a buddy just installed a B16A into his HF and even though the front mount is cut off it does not look like a header will fit. Any input would be great. I am just worried that the cheap ass mounts he bought did'nt mount the engine too far forward.

2 words: CUSTOM FABRICATION

An aftermarket header will NOT clear the front crossmember-yes, even DC Sports. This is true for all EFs-Civics and CRXs.

You can either go ghetto-fab and cut out a piece of the front crossmember(if you know how to weld, you could finish it off nicely). Or you can pay someone to do the same. OR you could remove the front crossmember and replace it with a traction bar.

Have fun!

I have a DC for a GSR in mine and I didn't have to notch the crossmember. Welded two bungs on it for both O2 sensors. I'm using Hasport mounts though.

"I'm using Hasport mounts though"

There you go. With HASport mounts you don't have to. With the cheap mounts that he said his friend is running, you have to.

Again, quality mounts should work fine. But cheap mounts will not. I.E. Spark Racing, etc.

These mounts are M.A.D.D. engineering mounts.
