I got my JRSC installed last weekend and have been messing with the timing a little got to say you have to love a d series with torque! The only thing I dont like is the FMU I might get a A/F controller has anyone had any luck with these?

Um not sure it feels alot faster in the bottom end. Where there was hardly any power down below there sure is now. Alot less need for downshifts also. For what its worth the JR web site has dyno numbers of around 143 whp and 126tq not sure if those are the exact numbers +-5 I would have to go look. pretty much B series hp numbers with more tq. I went this route because I rebuilt my motor a little more than a year ago and didnt want to let go with it. Before anyone says any thing yes a turbo or B series swap both have more potential but it just matters what you are going with the car.

Congrats man. JRSC makes a nice difference. I would say it's as fast as a gsr. I compared a stock gsr dyno plot with a Z6 JRSC plot, and the Z6 has about 10 more HP and 10 more ft/lbs of trq up to 5000 RPM, at that point the gsr makes about 7 more HP and 5 more Ft/lbs of trq. So they should be pretty close. I was going to get a B18C1, but the swap is $3500 (from a reputable company). I got my SC setup for $1500. I too didn't want to get rid of a perfectly good motor. Once the D dies I'll sell the SC, and get a B-series swap since it has more potential, but until then I'm satisfied.

So you think you can take a CRX with a B16A?

Don't know... Same HP, I have a little more trq, but then the CRX is lighter (how much I don't know). Probably will depend on driver, and traction. Should be close.
