Congrats man. JRSC makes a nice difference. I would say it's as fast as a gsr. I compared a stock gsr dyno plot with a Z6 JRSC plot, and the Z6 has about 10 more HP and 10 more ft/lbs of trq up to 5000 RPM, at that point the gsr makes about 7 more HP and 5 more Ft/lbs of trq. So they should be pretty close. I was going to get a B18C1, but the swap is $3500 (from a reputable company). I got my SC setup for $1500. I too didn't want to get rid of a perfectly good motor. Once the D dies I'll sell the SC, and get a B-series swap since it has more potential, but until then I'm satisfied.
