how to stop/disconnect annoying door buzzer

Can someone PLEASE give me a step-by-step (for the mechanically challenged) to disconnecting my door buzzer which goes off whever the key is on and the passenger door opens and doesn't stop beeping until I shut off the ignition completely and it's drivin' me crazy!!!
