jdm rear seat
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to get a JDM rear seat for my 89 CRX Si from, or just had one they were lookin to get rid of. Im not looking to spend too much on one, but i think it would be a nice addition to the car, makes the back look much smoother on the inside. Plus you can fit another person in there, a small one, but theyll fit.

Password:JDM usually has that stuff, but I don't see it listed. Contact them and see if they can get one for you.

I'll let you know now that they are worthless. I found a set of super-rare rear seats for my '7 and installed them for sh*ts and giggles. I carried a person back there once for my own amusement, but the front passenger had to slide all the way forward to create room for the rear passenger. The guy in back had to lean over sideways too, it's a max height of 4'6" back there. CRX's are just as bad, if not worse.
FWIW, I now keep my 2+2's folded down and covered by the stock 2-seat rear carpet. They're hidden, but still there for emergencys. (OH GOD, WE'RE OUT OF BEEEEEER! :chuckles: )

This topic has come up before. Be aware that the rear seat was not crash tested for the US market. If you install it, I would do it just for looks. If you have someone in the back and you get in an accident you'll be in a world of sh*t.

You don't have to worry about getting into a crash with people back there though, since people don't fit back there. :chuckles:
