TPS problem?
Hey guys, having a problem with my crx. When i put the pedal to the medal, once in a while, the car goes crazy, rpms just jump up and down, and the CEL comes on. I'm pretty sure it's my tps, but my ecu throws several codes. Code 3, code 7, and code 20.
I know code 3 means oxygen content, but i don't thinks there's anything wrong with the o2 sensor. I did replace the gas cap cuz the other one leaked. Could that throw the code 3?
Code 7 is the tps, which i figured out is bad.
But i don't know why my ecu is throwing code 20, electrical load. There are some bad wires in my car; when i push on the brakes, the seat belt and door lights in the dash come on. Would having bad wires make the ecu throw code 20, or could it even be the alternator? Cuz a few days back, my alternator belt came loose and squeeled like crazy until finally disintegrating, but i did end up fixing it, and the alternator is fine. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
