Default Wheels/Tire size

What's happening everyone, few questions? I'm considering going 205-40-17's on my 91 Si. My other questions are I want to go with Eibach Pro Kit, Kyb Agx shocks. I don't want to drop it no more than 1.5". So would 17's be fine or with that setup of no rubbing I should go 205-40-16's. I'm stock height now w/ Fat Five Gsr's 205-50-15's. Thanks with any suggestions...

Keep your GSR's and do the 1.5 drop. Fuck 17"s. Tires are more expensive and IMO look like hell on a hatch.
I had GSR's on my 93 hatch with a 1.75" drop..looked good.

Yeah, keep your 15" wheels. 17" just looks too big on the old hatch. With the lowered car - they'll look real fine!

Nothing over 16 for an EF.

I second that 17s just look too big, stick with your 15s or if you go 16 get 205 45 16 not 205 40 16.

You shouldn't have rubbing issues with either size wheel. I was running a 225-45-17 with a 2.0 drop in the front, 1.75 in the back and it occasionally rubbed, so I don't even think that will be a problem.

Then, I wised up and realized the 17s were too big, ugly and made me too slow and bought a clean pair of fat fives. But if you want to put 17's on your car, go for it. I am just warning you that you won't like them.
