Default Clutch problem?

I just installed my B&M short throw shifter and Hurst poly bushing set yesterday. I took it for a ride right after and it was a different feel (obviously). It wasn't a smooth shift like I was expecting. It was a shorter throwing like I was hoping. It just didn't seem right. I feels like it's not going into gear. It also seems like the clutch is somewhat engaged all the time. There is no power and I feel the clutch spinning. The clutch is a few months old and I don't really get on it much. I can also change gears WITHOUT the clutch pedal. What is up with that?? I doubled checked and everything seems to be where it should be. What could it be? did I over look something. Did I screw up the tranny somehow?

PS it's an 89 CRX DX

Try adjusting the clutch cable.

I tried that too, I think I need a new cable. I have it as far as it can be adjusted. Any other position wont work.
