hey guys... i already have a white 1990 CRX DX.. (that i'm trying to sell by the way... check the 4 sale forum) and just got done getting a black '91 Si in PERFECT condition. :boink: in the process of getting the new rex, i started teaching my girlfriend how to drive a 5-Speed. Well now shes thinkin about parting with her 1993 DX sedan to get a rex (preferably an Si). She wants to eventually get an RSX, but would like to know more about how a car works and handles and master a manaul tranny before she gets a brand new car.

do you think this is a wise move for her?? I'm all about her getting a rex, cause i LOVE that car.. so you think i should support this?? if so is there anyone in the area that might have a fairly stock si that she could buy?? or do you know someon?? any help or leads would be really helpful, as well as input into this decision

the rex for its size is relatively safe...but with all the 4000k plus suvs its not that safe anymore with a 2000lb low car...i'm older i guess so i consider safety as a daily driver a more imporant task...i drive a 2k1 civic or 02 protege5 on the roads (both with side air bags)...my rex is for the track and some light summer driving on the weekends

as a daily driver with safety aside...rexes are reliable and well built...my car had 300k miles on it before i got rid of its old hf engine and put in an si one

finding a rex is hard work and good deals are getting even harder to come by...i also live in the dc area and it took me 2 months to find a good deal
