My engine just started to knock recently, what does that mean. My friend says it means my head is gonna blow. Does anyone know for sure what it is?

 

engine knocking came mean a few things. Is it coming from the top end or bottom end?

 

It is coming from like the top right. What does that mean?

 

how loud is it? Might just need a vlave adjustment

 

Might be a spun rod bearing. Check your oil and if it's all glittery that's it then.

 

It isn't that loud now since I put more oil in my engine. What I really want to know is, can I drive my car regularly, or is the head gonna blow up on me?

 

you can drive the car but baby it.. The harder u go on the car the worse its gonna get and ur gonna end up bending valves. My car knocks also, im gonna adjust the valves on mine whenever it gets warm out. Get the valves adjusted as soon as you can.

 

Your head is going to blow? lol that's funny. If anything goes it's most likely going to be the bottom end first.

 

lol ur head wont blow up. i think if it was the valves..it would be making a ...ticking sound. a knocking must be pretty loud, id say a bearing.
