What's up fellas, this my question. I hear people saying the GSR center console is one of the best swap they made in their Civics. My thing is a buddy is suppose to be getting me one that's leather.The only thing not sure to tell him is he's mentioned the metal parts that go to it. Would he need to get all that or just have him get the arm rest & center console? Looking at this 4 door in Mar.2005 Hond. Tuning doesn't look like it's needed. Hollar

 

Look for a 1st gen Integra Console for the 4th gen.IMO easier to find and look a little better.

whoever did that 3rd gen console swap in the post 2 entries up sucks. i put one in mine and it matches up almost perfectly. except for a little space, i can take a pic later and show you. and i didnt bolt the thing down so it sorta wobbles but i dont care. 1st gen is ugly also.

 

Well the 3rd gen console was not fully installed,hence the space.
As for the first gen one,it matches up a little better and gives more space.

 

Both looks good, but on the 1st gen where's the cigarette lighter. My main reason why I want to do a center console swap is I have a Kenwood KRC-507S(cassette) & a KDC-D300.They plug into each other. It was given to me free by a salesman at my job who traded a vehicle in. They both are detachable faces, so I want to listen to CD's also. The first gen might work better for CD player. 3rd gen doesn't look like I'll be able to use both. People tell me I should just go by a CD head unit. Why spend money when nothing wrong with my head units. So you say you can get a 1st gen console.How much$$ ?

 

Also, I forgot to ask does the 1st gen Teg console have a arm rest the 3rd gen.

Are you asking if the 1st gen console comes with an armrest?
The 1st gen teg and 4th gen civic/crx armrest are very hard to find /rare and will be somewhat expensive if i can get one.
the 1st gen teg console will be not as hardto find but beleive it or not,not all 1st gen tegs came with that console,only the LS came with them.
BTW the first gen console eliminates the cig lighter because the 1st gen teg did not have a cig lighter in the console.
