Thanks Chris
For a Type R (B18C) engine into a CRX, basics youd have to know... Its an OBD-II (anybody feel free to correct me if Im wrong, I think most are, if not all), and are hydro tranny... So youd have to get B series mounts, figure out how to convert the OBD-0 to OBD-II, and get the hydro tranny to work since yours is cable... As for tranny, someone had a link to make the hydro tranny work in a CRX, it was like hasport or one of those companies who specialize in swaps... So it is possible...
As far as what will fit, the CRX is probably the most versitile chasis Honda has, since its lightweight, someone, somewhere, has at one time, tried to swap in every Honda engine known to man... Because of this, there is just about a bolt kit for all of the popular engines out now, (including now even the K series) to make that engine fit the CRX... It also differs on what you want to do with the car... Drag, street, ect? For a daily driver, I think the best option is probably a B16A1, relatively easy swap (both mechanically and as far as wiring), decent price, decent amount of power, and plenty of room for improvements...
