Default 89 CRX HF EGR Valve

ohk, i can find gaskets for these little bastards, but i cannot find the actual valve ne where. Honda wants to charge me 400+ for labor, and parts (valve and gasket). Does ne one know where i can get a valve from, and what size nut is attached to the valve cause it seems to be stuck between 11mm and 12 mm (i stripped one of em).

For 400 dollars you could get rid of that 8 valve paperwight and throw a D16A6 in there.

EGR valves hardly ever go bad so get one from the junk yard and get a new gasket from the dealer. The nuts are 12mm, try soaking them with WD-40 then take a punch and wack the nut several times this should help brake it loose if that dont then make sure you have a replacement one first then try bending the EGR valve with a pry bar to one side so you can get the socket on straight as possible, the car should be at operating tempature also. Use a 12mm six point socket.

Default Well

I can get the lambo doors as a gift (if they are really that cheap), but yes i am broke and i want a sohc vtec so yeah until i get that type of money, i am stuck with what i have. plus if you think about it $100 vs $400, i can get the lambo doors and still live comfortably with $200 rather than be in the hole by $100, but since it wont be my money i will still have my $300 and some change that is in my account
