This is probably a stupid ? but what type of air intake will fit the best on an 89 CRX w/ a JDM B16A swap? I haven't bought one yet but People are telling me that the one for the 89 CRX will work fine but I'm not sure. Other people are saying to get one that fits the 99-00 civic si...etc. I'm just trying to get one that will work the first time so I don't have to return it again and again...

 

It should come with the stock intake tube attached to the intake manifold. Just put a cone filter on that. No D-series one with fit, the diameter of the TB is bigger and the pipe is bigger. Or if you really want something nice check these out, http://www.inlinefour.com/aemhybin.html

 

make one... go to your local exhaust shop and have em cut you a peice of tubing from your intake manifold down towards the front of your engine compartment. check out k&n for some custom filters too... they got one to fit anything.

 

One that fits a D16A6 wont work? I always assumed they did...
