Default omg DIAF surging idle!!! :madfawk:

How can I clean out the IACV really well? I am ready to drive this car off a cliff. But I really wouldn't because Rick would enjoy it too much :fawk:. But seriously help me out, it is so annoying and it doesn't go away even when it's warmed up.

Soooo... do you want to die in a fire because of the idle or do you want the idle to die in a fire?

I want the whole car to because it drives me nuts. It's like you are trying to creep along at 5-10 mph and it is impossible because it keeps jumping from 2500-3000 over and over. And when you shift it jerks really hard because the rpms won't drop. And you have to constantly adjust how much gas you are giving it to go down the road normally.

I am having the same problem but it only happens from time to time, and when it does, the CEL comes on. The idle will be real low, around 500 rpm and if I touch the gas to put it around 2,000, it will shoot to 3,500. Once the car is warm I can turn it off and restart it and the CEL will go away and the car will run normally, but it's a real pain in the ass to have to stop, pull over, and restart. Esp. when you are in a rush, so sometimes I just drive from A to B with the CEL light on the whole time and it's very unnerving. If you figure out the problem than please let me know what it is. A buddy of mine told me that it is most likely the result of a bad TPS, but than it would be doing that all the time no?

So how do I know whether it is the fast idle thermo valve or the IACV?
