what do i need to do in order making a crx dx automatic into a 5sp, i understand a need the pedals, clutch cable, shift linkage and shifter but is this all bolt on? how hard is it to do? I just bought a 90 crx dx it has every part to convert it inlcuded with it including an si motor and tranny and a zc tranny. I'm gonna swap my b16 from my SALVAGED titled 91 civic si in the spring thanks zach

You will also need the ECU... Not sure what else... But u def need to add that to the list...

Sounds like you got everything needed, but make sure you get a manual B16 Ecu. When I did my swap somehow the manufactor sent the guys the wrong EcU(automatic)instead of a manual B16. I'm getting mine chipped this weekend as soon as the owner come & get my car. Few things to check out. Too bad you could'nt just get a CRX already a manual. Also, make sure you get motor mounts ENJO's or HASPORTS. I have some ENJO's I"ll sell you if interested for $75. I'm in MD. You also will need the shift linkage & axles for 88-91 EF's w/ B16's. You are going to need a 5 speed ECU, 5 Speed tranny, and you know just about all the other stuff u need. And instead of buying a stock shifter you can just buy a short shifter.

 

already have everything i need possibly read above i have 91 hatch si with a b16 swap and FEW extra goodies......

 

can someone please give me solid information on how to do the swap?
