im trying to put a 88 crx si 16 valve head on to a 86 crx si block will this and has eany one did this ??????? :dunno: all help in very much appreciated

Never heard of it being attempted... But I dont think it would be possible, I think the EW4 head is much smaller than a D16A6 head... But I cant be sure...

If you have to ask, you can't do it.

The D16A6 head will require a complete rewiring of the engine harness along with some plug swapping and other electrical-intensive goodness. This is all due to the stock vacuum advance distribuor having a different bolt pattern then the 88-91 electronic advance dist.

A6 head will not work Not on the EW. A1 will.
