Default head swap

I have a 89 CRX DX and need just a little bit more HP. I dont care for huge power with this car, I have a Subaru for that. Can I replace the head with one from a SI?

I always thought they had the same head. The only difference is the displacement. Even if the heads are different, I don't think you're looking at noticeable gains.

The heads are the same, aside from the cam and intake manifold/fuel system. They are both the standard 16v head casting.

The best swap for that, rather than a head, would be a MPFI swap... Swap out your DPFI (2 injectors) for MPFI (4 injectors) from an Si... Lots of wiring tho, but would be worth it, and give u that extra boost you are looking for...

Ok, if the heads are the same what about cams for the 1.5? I don't really want to mess with wiring, and I don't trust anyone with a "custom" job. I was hoping it be something I could swap in a day maybe a few hours (with the parts).

I honestly dont think itll worth your while... Without the needed gas from 4 injectors, any extra power would go to waste...

It's not so much the volume of fuel , it's the distribution of it. Direct port fuel injection systems are much better performing then "wanna-be carburator" style throttle body injection systems.
