are you planning on doing an engine swap... making it into a racer or a daily driver?? the si was the heaviest of the crx's, the hf had dpfi so you wouldnt have the hassle of going from carb to fi if you got the dx... i wish i wouldve known all this before i bought my si... i wouldve gotten the hf because i want to do a swap....

The 91 (far as I know this is true for 88-91 CRXs aswell, but I know 91 for sure), CRX Si and HF, both have MPFI (4 injectors), not DPFI (2 injectors), and most certainly not carbed... The DX or base has DPFI (2 injectors), no carb here either... Si is def the heaviest, but not by much, and stripped down, they are about the same anyways... The Si & HF, are both easy swap candidates, since they are already wired for MPFI, as this is what you need to do just about any swap... The DX, since its DPFI, would need to be wired to MPFI before any swap... So you should not have problems with your Si and a swap...

There are no factory carburated Civics/CRX's after the '87 model year for the US market.

Do you know what you are talking about? Anyway besides the FI crap you were wrong about even if the Si is the heaviest its still a light car.

HF's make a shitty daily driver though. The Si's have better equipment.

Huh? The HF is the definition of an 80's daily driver. It doesn't perform well or have many options because it's a cheap, gas thrifty commuto-box. Sure the Si will run faster and stop quicker, but that doesn't mean much to a rush-hour driver who wants to save a few more bucks in gas.

Well a daily driver for a performance oriented driver I meant.
