Default Clutch break in

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how important breaking in the clutch is? Me and my dad replaced the clutch in my 90 Civic, and it only has about 1000 miles on it.. But before I started driving it, my dad drove it, and taught 3 different people to drive stick, which means many people accidentally dumped the clutch and stalled out. I seem to remember hearing that the clutch gets broke in for the first few hundred miles, so I'm kind of concerned about this. The reason I ask is because my clutch engages really high up on the pedal. Any feedback would be really appreciated. Thanks.

you can adjust where the clutch engages on cable transmissions.

Oh, ok.. I guess my real question was just if anyone thinks a lot of damage was done by people learning to drive stick with the brand new clutch. I mean the clutch was accidentally dumped at least 30 times. Kind of worries me, since it wasn't exactly an easy task putting that new clutch in.

I wouldn't sweat it. If everything seems ok with it now I wouldn't waste time worrying about it, it is probably perfectly fine.
