Default my temp gauge is out?

why would it go out. i swear it was working last time i started it . or is it because its to cold? cuz its real cold.

temperature sensor possibly or a gauge problem.

The sensor is right next to the ECT sensor on the thermostat housing. The sending sensor is smaller.

Depending on where you live and how your gauge is calibrated, it is possible that it isn't getting warm enough to move. Have you tryed letting it idle up to temperature, maybe about fifteen minutes from a cold start?

thats what i did. i started it and left it till the heat was warm. when i start the car the temp gauge goes up but then it just drop back down, he hee.

i think i found it (someone told me, he hee) is it the black wire under the dizzy?

on some hondas, follow your lower radiator hose(the bigger one on the passenger side of the radiator, next to the drain plug) until it hits the housing(should be the same diameter as the upper one). there should be something that looks like brass sensor that is screwed into the housing and has a connector on it. that is the temp sensor.
