Default Finding all the parts...

I'm researching for the rear disc brake conversion for my '89 CRX. I understand that I'll need a '93 Integra rear trailing arm, but what else should I grab? Master cylinder, proportion valve, brake lines?

you're gonna want the whole trailing arm asm.'s
hubs, calipers, parking brake cables, proportion valve
and an afternoon to kill. and you should be good

Or you could just source it all from a CRX Si from 90-91 and while your at it step up to a 91 Civic EX MC and front brakes this is bigger than the Crx Si brakes.

Hmmm...is the '91 Civic EX the best car to upgrade these components from(MC and front brakes)?

Or what about a kit from 'FastBrakes'?

91 civic ex probably would be cheaper if you can find one i dont know if a ex has rear disc brakes though. i do know that the front brakes are bigger and the MC is the size of the 2nd gen Teg. 15/16th

I don't mean to bring this back from the dead, but I started it anyways.

So as far as front brakes are concerned, all I would need is the calipers and rotors from a '91 civic EX and not the whole steering knuckle?

I finally picked up a rear brake setup from a '90 Si. The only thing that was missing is the e-brake cables. Will my current cables work, or do I have to get new ones?

Do I really need a new proportion valve?

Oh, and if anyone wouldn't mind answering any of my previous post q's that would be awesome

a rear brake setup from a 90si or 91si is a direct swap. you can use all the same stuff.
while you have the brake lines out it would be worthwhile to get some teflon steel braided brake lines. rotors and pads can be done anytime, but the lines will have to be bled.
if you are planning on replacing the bushings, that would also be prime time.

Thanks. It was mentioned that I could upgrade the front brakes with '91 Civic EX calipers and MC. I'm assuming this is a directs swap (no fabricating for fitment), but would that mean I'd need the EX brake booster too? Or does the EX MC bolt right up to a CRX Si brake booster?

Bump on this thread.

I'm going to be doing the '91 EX sedan front brake upgrade. I'm just trying to figure out about the master cylinder. I'm wondering whether to get an EX MC, or grab a DA Integra MC w/ brake booster. If the Integra MC & booster bolt right up, I'll do that. Does anyone know for sure?
