i just did the mpfi swap on my 89 crx dx. i double checked all my wiring and everything is right. when i try to start the car, gas sprays out off all the injectors! i'm hoping its just the o-rings on the injectors, but its spraying from the top of the injectors where it meets up with the fuel rail. any help would be appreciated!!!

 

ok well thanks for the help nobody....i replaced the o-rings and that fixed it, but now i'm having another problem. it will start and idle fine, but when i give it gas and let off, it will sputter and die...any thoughts?

 

Did you replace both O-rings on the injectors? If the top ones that seal fuel were leaking perhaps the bottom ones that seal air are leaking and you have a vacuum leak. Or perhaps there is a vacuum leak elsewhere. I'd check that out. Good Luck.
