They add about as much horsepower as the Tornado, a fuel magnetizer, and a half-dozen VTEC and Type-R stickers.

...unless you have a very highly built engine, assembled exactly to the chip's specifications, and don't mind the loss of half (if not all) of your check engine light's functions.
