CRX Convertable?
I was driving around today when I spotted a mid-80s CRX Convertable. It looked factory, and was in pretty damn good condition for it's age. An older guy was driving it, so it wasn't some high-dollar custom show job, or at least I don't think it was. Did they make factory verts?

No. It's a conversion. There was a thread about them a while back. Some of the conversions were very well done and look factory. Do a search and you will probably turn up more info. Also, hate to be a grammar nazi, but its CONVERTIBLE. That might help your search. Try spelling it wrong if nothing comes up when you spell it properly.

The two verts pictured above looked different then the one I saw. It didn't have the rear part of the hatch, it was completely flat from the seats back. Like a speedster.

I've seen two or three first gens cut in such a way, of course not factory jobs as previously noted.
As I've noted before, they look like bastard cousins of VW Carbiolets. If you wan a 'vert that size, FWD, the Cabrio is what to get.
