I just did a swap to my civic cause the engine got messed but now i think im gonna repair the engine. Once i repair it i was thinking about swapping it into either a CRX or Civic HB. Which do you think would be the prime choice for the D16Y8?
crxs are lighter (hf being the lightest model) than their hb counterparts...crxs are 2 seaters so insurance is higher...the hbs can haul much more stuff...both are ideal for performance and fun to drive...the crx gets the nod b/c of its lower center of gravity and lighter weight
Rex will handle slightly better than the hatch. The hatch will def be cheaper though. It depends on whether you like hauling many people around or not.
I drive hatches but I love my brothers rex. I don't see many rexes so I would suggest it as the one to choose. Plus a clean rex is tops in my book, they just look right.
I've owned a 5th and a 4th Gen Hatch and a 2nd Gen CRX. I'd get a 5th Gen again. Those are the best.....I like my CRX better then my 4th Gen hatch. I'd go with the CRX.
