alright, i'm trying to figure what civic to pick up, i wanna swap in a D16Y8 engine, what would be the best model, i'm kinda leaning towards a crx hf but i don't know what efi setup to look for, i just wanna use the stock efi setup on the D16Y8 long block with a rpm switch engaging the vtec, do i have to mod the harness at all in this swap,

Find an HF if you don't mind the smallness and lack of toys.

Modify the stock HF harness to work, along with a PM6 (88-91 Si) ECU.

 

i have my candy painted cadillac for cruising, i just want a fast beater to get me to work , i secured a civic hatch back with a blown engine tonight for 70 bucks, ima see what model it is i think either 89 or 91
