Default 90 Civic EX slowing

I have a 1990 Honda Civic EX and several times the car slowed down while the oil and battery light goes on and off.

I think whats happening is you have some sort of problem...
Just Kidding! That seems like a strange combination of things tho huh?
Is it electrical since the battery light comes on?....
Or is it something mechanical in the oil pump?
Somebody here should have some ideas. Good luck mang.

Electrical issue, most likely a bad alternator and a resulting drained battery.

I just changed the alternator a month ago. Do you think the battery is just going bad and needs to be replaced? Thanks guys!

I checked the one between the valve cover and body.
