Default ECU Question....

what is the best ecu to use for a SOHC ZC swap in a 89 crx dx? i know the pm6 will work fine, but i have heard that the pg7 from a 88-89 integra will work better because of the higher rev limit....thanks for the help guys!!!

The late PG7 will work fine, as will the early (90-91) PR4.

All of them should be tuned with an air/fuel controller though.

Often times the ECU code is also the general parts code for the car.

Example:
90-93 Integra RS/LS/GS
The ECU is a PR4, however a large number of other parts in the car also have parts numbers begining with "PR4."

Because none of those computers have fuel maps for that exact engine.

You don't "need" one, but the engine is going to perform a lot better with one.
