Default f22 help

i have an oppertunity to buy a f22 in good shape for 100$ dollars but its missing the trans. with a h22 head and trans would this be a god and powerfull swap? i know how to do this perticular swap and i know that this happens to be a very strong block but with this set up is it a good idea? any help or opions from people more experienced than me (at least half of you )would be great.

it would be a pain to fit in...you would have to custom make mounts, a dohc head can fit on a sohc motor, the f22 is not a good block, the whole motor is trash, you could put a b series in for 100 times less work and it would be way quicker and more reliable.

Yes. The H22A head won't fit an F22A block, and the F22A won't fit an 88-91 body without serious work.

sorry guys i was told that the f22 block was like the h22 block, i guess my informant was wrong. havent done much with the 2.2s just know the basics of an h22 swap.
