Default where to get roll cage for '90 civic?

found a site with a 8-point cage for 40 dollars but i dnt think it is assembled. is that too cheap for a cage? i dont know anything about cage prices. it says it is NHRA and IHRA approved. i dont have the site its on my favorites but i will post it when i can.

also how hard would it be to install, it says it fits 92-95 civics.
.
i cant find anybody that sells cages but i've seen plenty on street civics
thanks.

$40 for a rollcage... God help you if you do flip. A professionally made and installed cage can cost upwards of a thousand dollars, also those are the ones that actually save your ass.

There is a difference between putting a logo and being approved. I can sell you jb welded plastic pipes and call then NHRA approved, but that doesn't mean squat. If you want something that will protect you and not do this because of the rice factor go and invest in a real rollcage. Bolts shear because of stress and strain, a professionally done cage is welded to the chassis of the car. If you want to go all out get some to build you a tube frame chassis. But, if you want the rice factor then get it but God help you if you do roll over. Also NHRA and IHRA will not let you race with that cage even if you give the excuse "It said it was approved." they will simply say you should have called us and asked us who the dealers are.

That won't fit a '90. Ever.

Go to http://www.ioportracing.com, they sell the proper Autopower roll bars and cage kits.

ever? i figured i would but it for the metal being so cheap and just weld it in. also i wouldnt bolt it in, i would weld it in my car is a pos i dont really care. and isnt a roll cage better than no roll cage? i could see if it was so cheap that the metal snaped and a tub went throught your head, but with the specs it gave it is still stronger than apiller.

Until you slam your head into one of the bars because you aren't wearing a helmet when you drive down the street for a soda.
