Removing ebrake?

Removing ebrake?
Does anyone know how to remove the ebrake handle on my car? I got a new handle for it but can't get the old one off.

The lever is bolted to the chassis. Get the service manual from Helm (NOT Haynes...Helm). You'll find a full exploded view in there.

i dont think he's talking about the actual lever, just the handle. anyway it just unscrews.

Yeah I just want the handle, and i guess Ill just try unscrewing it again, I must not have tryed hard enough

On my 89 CRX it just slides off, you just need to put some muscle to it.
