alright im wondering if i were to put a d15b in my stock 89 crx si what all would i really need would i have to get new exhaust, tranny, steering, any important stuff like that? i know it will fit the mounts and i know i will have to get a vtech controller right? im sure im glad im going to school for this shit because i dont know any of it. alright thnx

 

no you can use every thing you have now.its all the same,because there both d series motors.you dont need a v tec controller unless you want one but with a stock sohc vtec motor there isnt a point.you need to convert from dpfi to mpfi for the extra 2 injectors.you also need to run 2 wires for the vtec engagement,one to the vtec selonoind and i cant rember the other one."im no wiring smart guy or anything" try www.hondaswap.com for some good info.you are lucky you have the money to go to school,i however am going to be stuck in a goddamn hamburger stand my whole life.
