ok, i got a question bout the h23 going into a 88 honda crx whats all needed for the swap i know i need mount kit and wire harness but, do i have to extend the shock towers out? if i do how far would i have to extend them.

Your going to have alot of problems getting it there. if it's going to be a daily driver then i don't suggest it but if it isn't then go nuts. the shock towers i'm to sure but your going to have problems with the motor hitting the radius arms and the front and rear cross member. and your also going to have a problem with it sitting too low and hitting the hood at the same time.

i also think ur gonna have problems with the firewall clearance. also the hood wont shut properly. its been done but instead of an h23 it was an h22 into a crx, it came out in import tuner. runs 10s all motor. motors bored out to 2.6ltr, but thats an all out race car. has a fiberglass frontend. if u have $$$ hey the world is yours, but if ur low on money and need ur car done quick then this isnt the route for u. get a smaller engien b16,b18.

yea, i plan on getting another car my crx is going to be my race car i know most stuff i got a new hood and i got special mounts that raise the motor higher up already.
