well there is nothing special its just the basic ass end model.
it did not have a/c or power steering in it.basically low budget.
and im pretty sure that all cars have to have brakes to pass inspection"jk im being a ass". but why do you want to know about the std model ?

they have basically no options. although my 88 standard did have AC and my 91 si doesn't...i think it was a factory option someone got.

well i paid 700 for mine when i got it two years ago and it was in decent condition. it's not a terrible price, but you could probably find a better one for that price.

yes, very lightweight.

It will be a pain to convert to MPFI but its not a huge deal.
You'll probably want to steal some parts from the Si like brakes, seats etc., and definently get better wheels and tires and suspension.
But it is a good base because it's no frills.

trust me its a lot better with out it. this car is so small i think it auctually improves steering.because it lets you feel the car better, plus you wont be all over the road like most people with power steering seem to do.if its a stock car it is not mpfi, the only models that came pre wired for mpfi is the si and hf models.all others were dpfi.
