Default my freshly painted valve cover

well, i got bored so i decided to paint my valve cover. i used the vht red wrinkle coating, i think it came out okay. anyways, just wanted to share this. thanks for looking.

That looks really cool. I'm thinking about respraying my D16A6 valve cover crinkle red. Nice to see someone else has the same idea. What kind of engine is that? I don't recognize the valve cover.

can you use regular spraypaint? It doesn't get too hot on the valve cover?

thanks, i was originally just gonna use regular red engine paint but man im sure glad i didnt. the engine is a dohc zc.

sorry, i couldnt figure out how to multiquote. im not sure if you can use regular spray paint, id rather use a high temp paint just to be safe.

Thanks. I am new to hondas (but not to automobiles) and not all that familiar with the diff engine types. Looks like a valve cover respray moved up on my to-do list. Looks great bro!!!!

yea, i took the valve cover off when i painted it. but, its a good time to check the valve lash since the cover is off.

i wish i had the cash to afford a better header, but it definatly is better than the stock manifold. that thing was fugly.

i wouldn't sweat it, the exhaust doesn't care how it looks.
