D16 is a SOHC (Single OverHead Cam) 4 cyl.

a B16 is DOHC (Dual .....) 4 cyl.

B series motors have VTEC (your motor is a NON-VTEC motor), and newer D series motors also could have them. Also, the B series offers more power, and are more popular with in the market, hence more available parts.

Just do some more digging on sites, people do offer parts for the D16.

:lmfao: wow you must be really new.... anyways pm me and i will send you an article that explains the d- series and one on b16a.... what you got is a si engine... 1.6 liter SOHC engine.... not a bad engine too start off with.. you can put some work into it and make it have some balls... i would suggest to get a header and intake for starters and just do some research... good luck buddy
